Q: Are your products gluten-free?

Yes, all of our products are gluten-free. However, while each ingredient is gluten-free, the packaged products themselves do not have a formal gluten-free certification. Note that our products are made in a facility that currently also processes gluten. 

Q: Are your products safe for celiacs?

While all of our ingredients are gluten-free, and our products are packaged in a gluten-free facility, the packaged products themselves do not have a formal gluten-free certification. However, we advise that you consult with your physician before consuming our products.

Q: Are your products vegan?

Yes, all of our current products are vegan. Note that they are processed in a facility that also processes dairy.

Q: Are your products organic?

While some of our ingredients are organic, the products are not certified organic.

Q: Are your products Non-GMO?

While all of our ingredients are Non-GMO, the packaged products themselves do not have a formal Non-GMO certification.

Q: Are your products kosher?

Yes, they are Star-K certified.

Q: Do your products contain tree nuts?

• Our Pancake + Waffle Mix contains almond and coconut.
• Our Chocolate Cake + Cupcake Mix contains almond and coconut.
• Our Gluten-Free Flour does NOT contain any tree nuts. However, it is processed in a facility that also processes tree nuts.

 Q: What kind of sweeteners do you use?

• Our Chocolate Cake + Cupcake Mix contains coconut sugar.
• Our Pancake + Waffle Mix contains coconut sugar.

Q: How many pancakes or waffles does one bag of Pancake + Waffle mix make? 

18-24 three-inch pancakes, and 6 standard-sized waffles or about 10-12 mini waffles.

Q: How many cakes or cupcakes does one bag of Chocolate Cake mix make?

One 8-inch cake, or 12 standard-sized cupcakes

Q: How many cups of flour are in your Gluten-Free Flour Blend?

Roughly 3 ½ cups

Q: Are your products Prop65?

Yes. Prop 65 is a California law requiring businesses to warn consumers about products that may contain trace amounts of more than 900 possible chemicals, including elements like lead and cadmium, which are naturally occurring throughout our environment and found in all soils as they are present in the earth’s crust. Due to the near unavoidable presence of these and other elements in soil, plants of all types – including the almonds, cacao, and cassava in our products – may naturally contain lead and other metals in trace amounts. However, note the Prop 65 limits for elements like lead are in some cases nearly 1,000 times lower than the EPA’s “No Significant Risk Levels”. We take tremendous care in the quality of ingredients we source to use in our products, always keeping our consumers’ health and safety a top priority. Which is why, in accordance with Prop 65, we include this warning on our products: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
